This site exists to commemorate the first eleven seasons of the Bethel
Park Fencing Club. For the club's official website, log-on to www.bpfencing.org.
The Bethel Park Fencing Club was founded in 1997 as a Bethel
Park High School club, but since that time it has evolved into a fully competitive interscholastic/amateur fencing
team. Our fencers have competed in several different states as well as the Federal Republic of Germany, and have had several
top-ten finishes in local and regional competitions in the US and Europe. In addition, several former members of our club
have fenced for NCAA teams and college clubs.
BPFC is currently operated by the Bethel Park Department
of Recreation and Leisure Services, but the Bethel Park High School Fencing Team recruits fencers exclusively
from among the student body of Bethel Park High School in Bethel Park, PA. We compete in the
Pittsburgh Scholastic Fencing Conference along with North Hills and Upper St. Clair. We are also a USFA
member club, and BP fencers are encouraged to fence in USFA events at the local, regional and national levels in addition
to interscholastic competition.
Thanks for taking a look at our site.
